Privacy Notice

Last updated: 15 June 2026

This notice explains, in plain English, what happens to your data when you join the Seer early-access waitlist. It is short because we collect very little. If anything here is unclear, email privacy@seer.coach and we'll explain.

01 Who we are

Seer is the data controller for the personal data you give us through this site. We decide why and how it is used.

Use that address for any privacy question or to exercise the rights described below.

02 What we collect

When you sign up to the waitlist we collect:

  • Your email address — the one you type into the signup form.
  • Basic technical metadata — the referrer (the page you came from) and your browser user-agent string.
  • Signup time — when you submitted the form.
  • A campaign source tag — a short label noting where you signed up (for example, "summit"), so we know which campaign brought you in.

That's it. We don't ask for your name, your Riot account, your game data, or anything else at this stage.

03 Why we use it & our lawful basis

We use this data for one purpose: to contact you about Seer early access and send you occasional product updates.

Our lawful basis is your consent — UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a). For sending marketing email, we also rely on your consent under PECR (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations). You give that consent by submitting the form, and you can withdraw it at any time (see your rights below).

04 Where it's stored & who processes it

Your data is stored securely through our backend provider, Supabase, which hosts our waitlist database in an EU/UK region. Supabase acts as a data processor on our behalf.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone except the processors we need to run the waitlist (such as Supabase, and any email-delivery service we use to send you updates). Those processors are only permitted to handle your data on our instructions.

05 How long we keep it

We keep your data until you ask us to remove it, or until the early-access programme ends — whichever happens sooner. After that, we delete it.

06 Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectify it if it's wrong or out of date.
  • Erase it (“the right to be forgotten”).
  • Restrict how we use it.
  • Object to our use of it.
  • Port it — receive a copy in a portable format.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time.

How to use these rights

Email privacy@seer.coach, or simply click the unsubscribe link in any email we send you — that withdraws your marketing consent and removes you from the list. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect anything we did lawfully before you withdrew it.

Complaints

If you think we've mishandled your data, you can complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put it right first, though.

07 Cookies

This site uses no tracking or advertising cookies. We don't profile you and we don't run analytics that follow you around.

The only thing we store in your browser is a single localStorage key used for the site's access gate. It stays on your device, isn't shared, and isn't used to track you.

08 Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Significant changes affecting people already on the list will be flagged by email where appropriate.
